Saturday August the 1st, I will be running the 100M and attempting to win my first senior Swiss Champion title. I won the Junior and the Under 23 titles many times but was never able to win the senior title. This will also be a good test to see in what kind of shape I am two weeks before the World Championship. My last race was June the 14th in Miami (10.28). I feel very good despite the long trip and the hours spent at the airports in-between flights. I have been resting, enjoying the family and my mom’s food :D . The Swiss Championship will take place in Zurich which is about three hours away from Geneva.
Here is the link to the Swiss Championship organisator’s website. I have three rounds of the 100M on Saturday and two rounds of the 200M. My main goal will be to win the 100M title. I will keep my readers posted on my results. Keep me in your prayers :)

Saturday’s schedule:

100M Heats: 4:05PM (CEST) – 10:00AM (ET)

100M Semi-Final: 5:45PM (CEST) – 11:45AM (ET)

100M Final: 7:15PM (CEST) – 1:15PM (ET)

Sunday June the 14th, I qualified for the World Championship in Athletics. I ran 10.28 in the 100 meter dash which is the B-Standard for World Championship. The Championship will take place August 15 to 23 in Berlin, Germany. I am very excited because I have worked very hard to get back to a decent shape. Click here to view the video of the race. Next objective: Swiss record (10.16).
