Commitment to Excellence

June 24th, 2009 Cedric Nabe 6 comments

I was born with a drive to succeed. I was the first born in a household of 4 siblings. Early in life I learned to observe the continuous development of my surroundings and viewed the results of good and bad choices of myself and others. I immediately pinpointed those persons in the world that exceeded excellence. I have wanted to be nothing but successful when I realized how far I could go in life. I began to realize all the potential within me and how fate equipped me with the experiences to follow my dreams of success. I believe that when we invest ourselves completely and wholeheartedly into what we desire, success is inevitable. I define excellence as striving to be the best in every situation. And, if not the best then utilizing 100% of yourself. Excellence is the risky, innovative, confident, efforts in hard work. The key to excellence is a commitment to self, finding the way to work with all the attributes that make you who you are. The result of trying to be the best will then be a self-perfecting process. Excellence is only achieved when improvement is apparent, and pleasing yourself is top priority. Excellence is also a commitment to a cause. One important ingredient is to be humble, understanding that the results of your hard work represent a history and heritage. This will be evident when you have reverence for where your cultural roots are and the historical background of all who exceeded excellence before you. Their commitment to excellence created a path for your success. The best indication of your commitment to success is how others remember interacting with you and how much you have influenced the world.
