Happy New Year

January 12th, 2010 Cedric Nabe No comments

First I want to wish all my readers a Happy New Year and wish you all the best for 2010. May this year be the most successful and productive one.

During the fall, I trained harder than I ever did before. It was tough as I am working full time as a consultant but I managed to get good base training. I believe it will pay off in due time. Because of the cold weather I haven’t been able to do as many speed workouts as I wanted to but the good news is the good weather is coming back. I am a little behind as far as speed work but I will work hard to catch up and get ready for World Indoor Championships (March 14th – Doha, Qatar). This year I plan on focusing more on the 200M as I believe it will help me with my 100M race. I am planning on competing a few times here in the US before heading to Europe mid-February to compete in the Indoor Swiss Championships and Indoor World Championships.

Note: My business partner (M. Fingado) and I recently launched the Notelog (www.notelog.com). This tool has a lot of potential. Please check it out and provide me with feedbacks.

Sunday June the 14th, I qualified for the World Championship in Athletics. I ran 10.28 in the 100 meter dash which is the B-Standard for World Championship. The Championship will take place August 15 to 23 in Berlin, Germany. I am very excited because I have worked very hard to get back to a decent shape. Click here to view the video of the race. Next objective: Swiss record (10.16).
